The banqueting manager of the Grand Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh is in her office with a couple that want to
organise their wedding function. Stephen goes in to illustrate the menus.
Banqueting
Come in Steve, I would like to introduce you to this young couple, Miss Gray
Manager
and Mr Jones who are here to organise their wedding party with us!
Stephen
Nice to meet you! When’s the big day?
Miss Gray
On 25
th
June. I’m very excited about the organisation. We are going to invite at least
100 people, all from London. They will need accommodation in your hotel! I hope it
won’t be a problem!
BM
Not at all! We’ve got plenty of rooms.
Miss Gray
The event must be unforgettable! We’re looking for an idea to surprise our guests. We
want the wedding ceremony on the beach, because we would like to be parachuted
among the guests! We think we’ll take parachuting lessons!
BM
Errr … It would be great, but perhaps a bit too dangerous! Wouldn’t it? If you were
experts, then yes … it would be easier to organise.
Stephen
I’m sure we’ll surprise your guests with our excellent cuisine and service anyway!
Miss Gray
No, no, no! We want something really special!
BM
Then, if you insist, perhaps the groom could come out of the sea, wearing a wetsuit
like in a James Bond’s film.
Miss Gray
What a wonderful idea! Our guests will never forget it!
BM
But you must promise that you will attend our scuba diving courses.
Mr Jones
Yes, of course I will!
