A trip to Italy by a young person of Italian origins is the frame for the presentation of materials and linguistic activities designed for the learning of the language by young students and adults with an elementary level. Each Unit starts with a picture; students are required to answer the fundamental questions Who/What/Where/When about a situation. Then students are faced with a text, usually recorded on the cassette, which is the starting point for further activities of comprehension and linguistic production. All the activities are based on real life and students are encouraged to communicate effectively in Italian.
