Putting Global Citizenship Education into practice

In the midst of a global pandemic requiring global solutions, it seems appropriate for education systems to be looking beyond the confines of national borders. Global Citizenship Education (GCE) provides a means of doing this. In this webinar, we will explore how to put the theory behind GCE into classroom practice and look at ways to design GCE teaching and learning materials appropriate for the secondary level English language classroom.




Jonathan Hadley has worked in English Language Teaching for over 25 years as an English teacher, teacher trainer and curriculum/materials writer. With a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and a Diploma in English Language Teaching, he now specialises in educational reform programmes, working with teachers, educational institutions and Ministries of Education around the world. Jonathan has a particular interest in supporting teachers to make their English classes interactive, fun and, above all, relevant so that they can prepare their learners for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century.
